The demands for compliance and supply chain assurance mean all companies, large or small, need complete confidence in their analytical testing provider. The range of tests required, and the use of more sensitive and/or more rapid methods has driven a need for dealing with laboratories that offer a broad scope of tests. At Symbio Laboratories, we have built our services around our knowledge of industry and specific customers’ testing programs. The highly qualified and experienced staff within our laboratories and customer service teams ensure we deliver accurate and timely test results, and that customers have access to qualified personnel who can explain results, and provide guidance on how to implement them.
All test methods are based on Australian Standards or recognised international references (e.g. AOAC, AOCS, AACC, APHA, USEPA). Symbio is also a Department of Agriculture (AQIS) appointed analyst for imported foods testing, and is listed by the National Residue Survey for testing of residues for a number of programs across meat, grains, fruit and vegetable commodities. As a Quarantine Approved premises, Symbio’s Brisbane microbiology (quarantine site no. Q2717) and chemistry (quarantine site no. Q2718) laboratories can accept samples from international customers looking for testing in an Australian accredited laboratory.
Our laboratories have implemented wide-ranging internal proficiency programs and participate in a large number of external proficiency programs to ensure a high level of accuracy and service is delivered to clients. Laboratories are located regionally and in capital cities across Australia, each of which operates according to the guidelines set out in ISO/IEC/17025, and are NATA accredited for a wide range of tests.
With one of the broadest range of NATA accredited chemical, residue and microbiological tests conducted in house, using the latest sensitive and rapid technologies, Symbio Laboratories is a genuine one-stop shop for all your testing needs.
